About Confirmation.com

Chris Schellhorn is the Chairman and CEO of Confirmation.com. He is a highly experienced CEO and a proven operator with a successful background in online transaction processing businesses within the financial services industry. He has managed several software and technology businesses and has served on numerous Boards of both public and private companies.

Prior to Capital Confirmation, Chris was the CEO of Integrion Financial Network in northern Virginia.  Integrion created the original online banking platform for the 18 largest banks in North America with VISA and IBM as partners, and under his leadership, Integrion increased its subscriber rates from less than 20,000 to more than 3.5 million Internet accounts with 30 million transactions per month.  

Prior to Integrion, Chris was brought in as the President and CEO of VISA Interactive, a wholly owned subsidiary of VISA International also located in Virginia.  His charge was to turn around the company and within 3 years Chris successfully led the company to breakeven and grew the company to 500,000 subscribers with in excess of 10 million monthly transactions.  

As President and CEO of VISA Interactive, Chris directed the development of all VISA International distributed payment processing systems to be deployed worldwide and provided strategic direction to VISA International for all e-commerce initiatives.  During his tenure as President and CEO, Chris successfully negotiated the sale of VISA Interactive to Integrion.  He also managed the technology platform that provided service to 75 financial institutions in the U.S., Europe and Latin America.

Chris received his MBA from the University of Rochester in 1979, and graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a BA in Economics in 1973.

Brian Fox, CPA, MBA, is recognized as the creator of Electronic Confirmations and he received the first seven patents granted on electronic audit confirmations. Brian is the President and Founder of Confirmation.com and former Adjunct Professor at Vanderbilt University.  He is also one of the founders and a Board member of Rivio.com, a joint-venture between the AICPA and Confirmation.com.

Brian was named one of the “Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting,” is a five-time winner of the accounting profession’s “Top 40 Under 40 CPA in America,” and was named as an Entrepreneur of the Year in Nashville.  He was also recognized as one of Nashville’s “40 Under 40” and as one of Nashville’s Emerging Leaders in its inaugural class.  Prior to Confirmation.com, Brian was in Dallas where he worked in audit for Ernst & Young LLP and in mergers and acquisitions for PriceWaterhouseCoopers.  

Brian is a nationally recognized speaker on financial fraud and has appeared on Fox Business News, Business News Network and MarketsWiki TV.  He has articles and quotes in the Financial Times, Forbes, Wall Street Journal, Fortune, New York Times, Compliance Week, CNBC, The CPA Journal, The CPA Technology Advisor, AP Matters, The Auditor’s Report, and many more.    In addition to being on the Board and Advisory Board of several private companies, Brian is also on the Advisory Board for Southern Methodist University’s Masters In Accountancy Program and the Alumni Council for Vanderbilt’s Owen School of Business.  He serves as a mentor in the Inc. 500 Military Entrepreneurs Mentor Program, the Jumpstart Foundry and the Nashville Entrepreneurship Center and is on the Advisory Board for the Nashville Capital Network. Brian is a member of the AICPA where he was a member of the Task Force for the Future and is a member of The Tennessee Society of CPA’s.

Brian completed his MBA at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management with a dual concentration in Finance and Electronic Commerce and received a BBA in Accounting from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.

Suresh Babu is the Chief Information Officer of Confirmation.com. As a 25+ year Information Technology professional, Suresh has a vast experience in global application development, IT infrastructure, and security.

Prior to Confirmation.com, Suresh was VP of Information Technology for Systemax, a fortune 600 company, where he managed the global IT organization which included operations in the United States, Europe, and India. At Systemax, he built a global product development team for all divisions of the company, designed the network and system security, and implemented information security for the company.

Prior to Systemax, Suresh was Director of Software Development Information Technology for RedPrairie Inc. In his role, Suresh managed the architecture and development of the ERP system and a web-based UI application. He designed and developed a new payment gateway, and architected the integration of the ERP system with the POS application. He was also in charge of the conversion of the application to a .NET framework and the PA-DSS certification of the product.

Suresh has a MS in Computer Science and Engineering, and a BS in Computer Engineering. He has also published papers on the implementation of a multi-layer neural network solution and solving Gabor Transforms.

David Crenshaw serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Confirmation.com. A mergers and acquisitions attorney and certified public accountant by training, David oversees the accounting, finance, legal and human resources divisions of the company.

Prior to joining Confirmation.com, David practiced corporate law at Nashville-based Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison, PLC specializing in complex acquisitions, equity and debt financings, securities law, and corporate governance matters. He regularly represented venture capital and private equity clients in various business transactions, investment strategies, joint ventures, and other strategic alternatives.

Before practicing law, David served as a certified public accountant for Ernst & Young, LLP performing audits and transaction advisory services for fortune 500 clients with headquarters in and around middle-Tennessee.

David has a Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University and a Masters of Accounting from the University of Tennessee.
