Christopher F. Schellhorn, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

With over 30 years experience managing technology businesses, Chris brings a solid background to lead this business in the rapidly changing regulatory environment created by Sarbanes Oxley. Chris has led the organization from start-up to its position as the world's leading provider of electronic confirmations.

Prior to working with Capital Confirmation, Chris was the Managing Director of Integrion Financial Network, the online banking platform owned by eighteen of the world's largest banks, IBM, and VISA International. Prior to Integrion, Chris was the President and CEO of VISA Interactive, VISA International's wholly-owned online banking and bill payment subsidiary. Chris has extensive experience in commercial banking, online banking and bill payment, and managing technology businesses. Chris is a retired Naval Officer and was an assistant professor at the University of Rochester's College of Arts and Sciences.

Chris completed his MBA at The Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester and received an AB in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross.

C. Brian Fox, CPA, President and Founder

Brian is recognized as the creator of Electronic Confirmations and he received the first six patents granted on electronic audit confirmations. In addition to being the President and Founder for the company, Brian is also an Adjunct Professor at Vanderbilt University. He is a five-time winner of the accounting profession's "Top 40 Under 40 CPA in America" and was named as an "Entrepreneur of the Year."  Prior to Capital Confirmation, Brian was in Dallas where he worked in audit for Ernst & Young LLP and in mergers and acquisitions for PriceWaterhouseCoopers. 

Brian is a nationally recognized speaker on financial fraud and has appeared on Fox Business News, Business News Network and MarketsWiki TV. He has articles and quotes in the Financial Times, Forbes, Wall Street Journal, Fortune, New York Times, Compliance Week, CNBC, The CPA Journal, The CPA Technology Advisor, AP Matters, The Auditor's Report, and many more. In addition to being on the Board and Advisory Board of several private companies, Brian is also on the Advisory Board for Southern Methodist University's Masters In Accountancy Program and the Alumni Council for Vanderbilt's Owen School of Business. He serves as a mentor in the Inc. 500 Military Entrepreneurs Mentor Program, the Jumpstart Foundry and the Nashville Entrepreneurship Center and is on the Advisory Board for the Nashville Capital Network. Brian is a member of the AICPA where he was a member of the Task Force for the Future and is a member of The Tennessee Society of CPA's.

Brian completed his MBA at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management with a dual concentration in Finance and Electronic Commerce and received a BBA in Accounting from Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business.

Jim Hamilton, Chief Technology Officer

Jim is a 30-year Information Technology expert with a background in online financial services transaction processing, operations and software development of business solutions. Before joining Capital Confirmation, Jim was Senior Vice President of Information Technology for MyTravel North America where he was responsible for the company's IT strategy. He successfully managed all software development and operations that delivered applications to MyTravel's call centers, remote agents and commercial e-commerce websites.

Prior to MyTravel, Jim held several positions with VISA International including Vice President of Engineering and Program Management for VISA Interactive, VISA International's Worldwide Remote Banking and Bill Payment Company. As Director at VISA International Electronic Banking, he led the technical relationship with Intuit to facilitate standards in the marketplace through a joint effort with VISA, Intuit, Chase Manhattan Bank and Wells Fargo Bank.

Jim received a BS in Business Administration from the University of Montana.
